During the Lunar New Year Festival, it is typically concluded by a celebration of food, drink, music, dance, dance, food and drink.

The event includes traditional dance performances and the festival continues with fireworks at 8 pm. There will be a formal dinner, performances and interactive activities to give you a better understanding of how to celebrate the biggest moment of the year.

To give the performance a special historical resonance, the ensemble uses a combination of traditional and modern musical instruments and modern lighting techniques to preserve the traditional light and sound effects of the time and place of New Year's Eve. The International Student Organization organizes an annual event to celebrate Lunar New Year and introduce the YSU community to Asian cultures. Celebrate the Year of the Rat, "which will be held at Shaker Heights City Hall from 6 to 8: 30 p.m. on December 31, 2016.

A petition by property owners succeeded in separating a long strip of land from southern Cleveland Heights to get the name Shaker Village. In November 1911, voters in Shakers Village started a petition to take it over in January 1912. Each year they host the 12 keys to the ceremony, which began in 1935 and ended with Dean Yoder in 1993. Below is a list of events I have participated in over the years, with the exception of the annual Sh Baker's Day Parade and the Shaker Heights Day of Remembrance Parade.
