“Hawken is a amazing school. My daughter is very happy there. It has an excellent balance of academics and extracurricular activities. It's great how there are only a few people per advisory. That helps the students connect with their teachers. Also not having to many kids like in public schools helps the teachers have more time to explain problems to the students. The teachers are more than happy to help the students, not like in public schools where they won't bother to help. Hawken is a wonderful choice, and in my opinion Hawken is better then Hathaway Brown and University School because it is coed.” This review was posted by a other.

“Excellent balance of academics and extracurricular activities. Lower school has a six day schedule which includes 2 days of swimming, 2 days of PE, 2 days of Spanish, 2 days of art, 2 days of science and a library session in every 6 day cycle. The extended day program offers additional extracurricular opportunities like soccer, basketball, dance, tae kwon do, art, music, science, etc., so kids aren't bored in after-care if parents work full-time.
